October 1, 2013

Lok’nStore, the big friendly self-storage company, is proud to announce that it has agreed to make Naomi House & Jacks Place its ‘Charity of the Year’. The local self-storage company in Poole, Swindon, Southampton, Fareham, Portsmouth, Basingstoke and Reading started supporting the charity from September 2013 and has planned various fundraising activities involving their staff.

To officially confirm this new partnership, Steve Wells, Regional Manager of Lok’nStore, recently presented Fiona Hansford of Naomi House & Jacks Place with a certificate announcing the hospice as their ‘Charity of the Year’. Steve and the local Centre Manager’s also spent time with Fiona at Naomi House & Jacks Place finding out about how local fundraising from companies like Lok’nStore is critical to the charities existence by ensuring the hospice raises more than £_ million each year.

Steve, Regional Manager at Lok’nStore comments: “We are delighted to be forming this partnership between Naomi House & Jacks Place and Lok’nStore. With many of our customers residing in the local area, it is important for us to support the community around our stores. To kick start our relationship with the hospice, we will make a £25 donation every time the charity directs a customer to Lok’nStore and they make a reservation. We also have some exciting fundraising activity planned where we will be profiling the charity to our customers and the general public.”

Lok’nStore currently has 24 centres in handy locations across the South East of England. At each one, you’ll find a huge range of self-storage units to choose from and a friendly team ready to help you out with storage tips and offer you a cuppa.
